Parada 15 - Calle Hoare, Calle San Juan, Calle Condado
As you leave the historic houses of Miramar and head east on Ave Ponce de León, stop 15 is an area in transition. Once the start of the commercial strip that was home to many of the large department stores and several major theaters, the area now has a split personality.
From Ave. Ponce de León to the lagoon, you'll see stunning high-rise condos with spectacular views of the Condado Lagoon and Atlantic Ocean.
If you head away from the Lagoon, you'll see a fairly unchanged neighborhood with several grand old buildings and many small homes and businesses in a typical working-class neighborhood untouched by redevelopment.
Although most businesses have closed pending redevelopment, there is still a very popular Marshalls, several very popular local restaurants and great views of the lagoon that make a visit worthwhile after you explore our cultural attactractions.
